Oh hello world, long time no see....folio is finished!
These last two weeks have flown past so fast, but that is what you expect from folio week I guess. I was lucky that my mother came to visit and cooked me some food which was very much appreciated. I probably would have lived off toast this weekend if it wasn't for her. Saying all this, I felt weirdly organised as there were no late nights and still managed to go out with friends and spend one day exploring the amazing South Melbourne Markets with a friend. If you haven't been to this market, I would seriously recommend it! It is much smaller than the Vic market but somehow this made the stalls feel almost curated/specifically selected to reduce overlap in stock.
Whilst staying and feeding me, my mother also gave me this cute bunch of poppies which were all closed when I got them but there is something magical about slowly watching flowers open. Even the difference from how much they were open in the morning to night was amazing. They brightened up my folio week as winter is definitely settling in now and has been a bit too cold (this coming from someone who loves winter). So I decided I would sketch these little blooms. This is the first thing I have done in the past 2 weeks that is not Uni or intern-ship related so I thought I would share it with you. Stay warm everyone!
