lazy days off
On Monday I completed my last day at my intern ship. I am so grateful to Kathryn and her creative team for being so lovely and helping with any issues I had. I have then spent the last two days doing nothing which has been very relaxing and I have been enjoying not spending every waking minute thinking about uni. It won't last long though as I have some projects that I am really excited about on the way which I will try and post up here as I go along. I am also taking full advantage of the next couple of weeks off to build up my folio.
This morning mum and I whilst pruning the roses in the garden collected all the rose hips. Collecting then some other bits and bobs from around the garden made a weedy/bright bunch of flowers. I decided after all this hard work, we needed to have some pear tarts as I love pears, wanted to try a new recipe I had and we needed to talk books. My mother (dijanne Cevaal http://www.origidij.blogspot.com) is a textile artist and is making a book at the moment about travel, her work and being inspired whilst travelling. This book she has asked me to design and layout which I am very excited about as it is a real life project that I will be working on. So even though I am on break I will be keeping busy!!
