Collage

Well this one had been an interesting one, as my computer decided to get a virus attached to a font, so my computer has been out of action for a week. Perfectly timed right before the end of semester, funny how technology manages to always break at these times of need. So sorry about the delay in posting but after my amazing IT Fraser fixed the computer for me and therefore saving me from a panic attack. I have been trying hard to catch up on the week of work I could not do. But I promise I will do extra posts to make up for the delay.

I thought today I would talk about my artist books elective that I am currently doing and show some more work from it. We are currently working on three works (books) that have to have a consistent theme through-out and must feature collage element in all three books. I have always been amazed with collage, as these skilled people take something found and make it something better. Saying this I had never really attempted it myself and it is as fun and creative as I always thought it would be. The theme I am working on is Fragmented and the beauty behind something that is not perfect. I thought I could show some of the working images this week and show the finished images in their applied form in the book.
