Finally

After years of thinking I should start a blog I have finally done it.
I suppose I should start off with the basics,
I'm Celeste and I'm in my final year of study at RMIT university in Melbourne.
I love to draw, design, collage, really anything that involves making.
I love salad, any kind! I know its a weird food to love but there we go.
I live with my boyfriend Fraser (yes the guy hiding from the camera in the swag).
And I sketch all the time, good sketches & bad sketches, all this experience yet somehow I am terrible at Pictionary?

Well there we go, a bit about myself.

Now what a better time to start a blog then after a trip away so I can put these rookie blogging hands to the test. After saying we will go on a trip for sometime but not actually managing to achieve anything, Fraser and I decided to venture off on Good Friday to see what Daylesford had in store for us. We spent much of our time eating (we love food), going on adventures in the bush and our bed for the night was a swag under the stars. We didn't really see the point in paying money for spa treatments (Daylesford is know for its natural springs and spas) when we could leisurely traipse around the surrounding country side buying goodies such as chocolate licorice bullets, local honey and pear/apple cider. Daylesford and the country side surrounding seemed to have a fascination with tree lined streets, which was absolutely beautiful and reminded me of being in French or English countryside somewhere.
Now I know not much design/illustration just a little sketch but there will be more to come, I have taken the big step and now just have to keep going.
