Well this weekend has been a bit of a nothing week, well design/illustration wise. I spent the weekend searching far and wide for pearl sugar as I have been craving cinnamon buns. This turned out to be quite difficult so I ended up buying it on an online store. This means I have to wait for my craving of cinnamon buns... but will make them more rewarding when I finally get them!
I thought I would also share a little bit of the sketching work I did for my intern-ship. This little strawberry pavlova (a meringue dessert with cream and fruit for those who don't know)was part of the Australian Christmas cards I was working on as in Australia Pavlova is an essential part of cooling down and relaxing those hot Christmas lunches (even though I hate it). He didn't make the cut but doesn't mean he can't be seen. Hopefully I can pull my act together a bit more in the next couple of days as I really want to create some folio pieces.
