Bright little Candle

So my next project that I was a bit behind on was that my family and I decided last Christmas that we would have a making Christmas where I had to make people gifts instead of buying them. For Fraser's mother I decided I would make a candle with cut out paper to make shadows on the wall. Unfortunately I made it with paper that was far too thick and it didn't circle the candle nicely so I decided I wanted to remake it.

Well after putting it off and putting it off I decided I would finish it as we are seeing them this weekend for Mother's Day. So I started to re-sketch the pattern from the last one, using the Rhodia dot pad which I have fallen in love with and use all the time. After I finished drawing, it was then time to cut it out of thinner black paper which I then attached around the glass part of the candle holder. The finished project it the image below and I am very happy to see it finally finished.

Well I hope you all have a lovely weekend and spoil your mothers, I won't be as she is overseas and is spoilt enough even if she is working. Also remember to enter the competition in the post below as I will be announcing the winners tomorrow. I thought I would say currently the links on the side aren't working as I have been slowly learning some coding but should be up and functioning hopefully next week.
